We’ve had the time and experience to fall on our face and make mistakes a few dozen times (and certify in a few different hand-tied methods) in order to figure out what works and what doesn’t while we continue to grow our education.

We love every second of what we do. We want other stylists to do the same. There are enough extension clients to go around. We’re here to help other stylists and elevate the industry.

At Amie & Co, we’re often asked about shadowing opportunities for stylists that would like more guidance on the hair extension world and how to navigate niching down and specializing in extensions. There’s SOOOO much to learn and rather than trying to squeeze all of it in one day we thought it would be better to go deep and launch 2 different structured in-salon learning experiences for those who may offer hand tied extensions but would like to specialize and what that could look like for them.

These are 2 separate in-salon trainings at Amie & Co. that target the topics that stylists need the most help and leaves out all of the fluff.  The goal is for you to leave feeling excited, inspired, and confident to implement new ideas for massive success behind the chair and in your business.

Please note: We offer NBR, Luna Method, and IBE methods at Amie & Co, but we are NOT authorized to teach the specifics of beadwork or stitching of these methods, so we will not be going over those topics.  NDA’s were signed at all of these trainings that we attended for these brands.  At Amie & Co we believe in keeping our word on those agreements. However, we’re happy to share our experiences with training in IBE, NBR, or Luna and what the differences are of each of these methods.

The Amie & Co Creative Experience:

During this 1 on 1 training experience Amie combines her 6 years of knowledge and experience in hand-tied hair extensions and 23 years as a colorist and condenses it into a full day of leveling up your skills as an extension artist. You will leave with tried and true ways to make your day to day experience with extensions easier and MORE fun!

The Creative Experience can either entail a shadowing experience where the stylist observes an extension move up appointment and then we go over questions in the afternoon portion of the class or we can do mannequin work where YOU have the opportunity to do some hands on work as well before diving into the afternoon portion.

The Amie & Co Business Experience:

This is great for the stylist who realizes that they need systems in place to prevent burn out but they aren’t sure where to start and would love some 1 on 1 help to get on the right track.

A lot of methods are great at teaching you the skill of doing great extensions but there’s a whole other side to running a successful hair extension business that often gets overlooked leaving extension artists feeling overwhelmed.  There was  a LOT of trial and error in these areas at our salon.. we did lots of tweaking and adjusting to find what works best for our business.

The goal is for you to leave this training feeling more confident and armed with the systems to make your life easier in the salon. Automating some of the back end things that are necessary for a successful and sustainable business leaves more time for growth and endless possibilities for you in your career!
