We make it look easy but there was a lot of time, practice, and training that goes into it. We’re constantly training to level up our technique and your experience with hair extensions at Amie & Co. Nothing can replace time & experience.
“Do NBR or IBE extensions hurt?”
Some clients have slight discomfort the first night after their install, but after that you’re good to go. 👌
I’m a super tender-headed person and occasional migraine sufferer. There’s NO WAY I could tolerate wearing anything on my head permanently if it was uncomfortable.
You should never have prolonged discomfort with any extension method. If you are experiencing discomfort, you should reach out to your stylist and let them adjust things. Before getting extensions, do your research before investing in extensions and don’t be afraid to ask your stylist what training they’ve had in the extension method that they’re offering. Are they certified in that method? What do they do to continue their education? Truthfully, a 1 day certification truly isn’t enough to make someone an extension specialist. It takes a LOT of time, practice, and continued dedication to improving on your skills as an extension artist.
The beauty of wearing NBR & IBE is to be able to have the hair that you’ve always wanted, with minimal damage to your natural hair and they should also be comfortable to wear. 🙌
